Phil Ivey’s House

December 10, 2007

Nicknamed the Tiger Woods of poker, Phil Ivey is considered to be one of the best poker players in the world if not the best. He won his first World Series of Poker title at the age of 23 and won 4 more WSOP bracelets before his 30th birthday. Phil Ivey started his poker career at the age of 17 when he started sneaking into casinos using a fake ID with the name of Jerome and armed with a small bankroll and the determination to win, he worked his way up the limits and by 2000 was a full time pro. Phil Ivey’s worth is estimated to be in the $100 million range and he routinely plays in the biggest cash games and tournaments around the world.

Looks pretty, but almost TOO pretty, as if no one is living there. Very little personality I think.

Absolutely! estimates on his worth have been in the $100 million range, considering the size of his bankroll is $30-40 million and his stake in Full Tilt Poker. I agree it looks a little bare, I don’t think he spends much time there.

How can anybody speak bad about a guy who handles himself with such class. Gotta say, I wish more people were like him at the poker tables (not skill wise though).

Makes sense if you worked hard sometimes days straight playing poker and reward yourself by buying this mansion , would you just hand it over to an ex in divorce hearings . No you sell it give her half the proceeds (which will get taxed ) and she can start grinding up her bankroll and work just as hard as Phil at a 9-5 job . She can also buy one of those commonfolk homes and live amongst the middle class crowd .I’m sure she’ll be happy after all money aint everything.
