Phil Ivey’s House
December 10, 2007
Nicknamed the Tiger Woods of poker, Phil Ivey is considered to be one of the best poker players in the world if not the best. He won his first World Series of Poker title at the age of 23 and won 4 more WSOP bracelets before his 30th birthday. Phil Ivey started his poker career at the age of 17 when he started sneaking into casinos using a fake ID with the name of Jerome and armed with a small bankroll and the determination to win, he worked his way up the limits and by 2000 was a full time pro. Phil Ivey’s worth is estimated to be in the $100 million range and he routinely plays in the biggest cash games and tournaments around the world.

Damn.. that’s a nice pad! Poker’s been treating him well!
Looks pretty, but almost TOO pretty, as if no one is living there. Very little personality I think.
Absolutely! estimates on his worth have been in the $100 million range, considering the size of his bankroll is $30-40 million and his stake in Full Tilt Poker. I agree it looks a little bare, I don’t think he spends much time there.
I really need to change my career!
He’s a very SELFISH person on a personal note.
Selfish? hahaha he made it, he owns it, its all his….!!!!! you want it? you earn it!!
whoever says phil ivey is slefish has zero idea what there talking about i am a server at TAO in the venetain he tips like 40 to 50% on over 1000 dollar tabs every single time including slipping the bussboy another 100 ++ on the side
wow…ivey is the man
Yea i have to agree. He seems like a cool dude.Plus he has earned ever penny. He is married so he is not lonely Sam!! Plus he is not playing cards to entertain watchers he plays as a job.
Go Ivey!!!

How can anybody speak bad about a guy who handles himself with such class. Gotta say, I wish more people were like him at the poker tables (not skill wise though).
lol at the highschool graduation picture of him on top of the fireplace
Makes sense if you worked hard sometimes days straight playing poker and reward yourself by buying this mansion , would you just hand it over to an ex in divorce hearings . No you sell it give her half the proceeds (which will get taxed ) and she can start grinding up her bankroll and work just as hard as Phil at a 9-5 job . She can also buy one of those commonfolk homes and live amongst the middle class crowd .I’m sure she’ll be happy after all money aint everything.
Yeh i have known Phil for a very long time (i played with him in atlantic city with the humphreys) he is a very nice guy and he knows when to quit (Never) but he did buy me in this year for the main event he is a great guy if you get to be his friend

whatup phil. I know there is about a 1/1,000,000 chance you see this. But just wanted to say a few things. You are pretty much my idol. I’m not sure what happened with you and your family, but my family life has been pretty rough.
I never met my father. My mom had an affair with her first husband, and it resulted in my birth. After that, she married another man name William Lynch. He was my father since I was 2 years old. He was a father to me and I loved him. He disowned me/ cut me off a few years ago. I don’t talk to him anymore. I imagine part of it is because my mother whom he hates with a passion, understandably (from the stories I have heard from him). Anyways man, besides that craziness, just wanted to hollar at you. My life has been a bitch, and still is. But I love poker. I feel like that’s all I want to do, even though I got a business degree from NCSU(wolfpack). And I know I am nowhere close to your skills, but I have decent poker instincts and a better-than-average idea of whats goin on. I’m 99% sure posting this is a crap-shoot. But, I ain’t got much goin right now and I figure what the hell do I gotta lose? Anyways, always rootin for you phil.
Best wishes,
David Gibson (dmgibby1006@gmail.com)
